2. General information

Scope of processing

This is a static informational website. No cookies are set, no analytics or tracking code is embedded, and no data is passed to third parties for advertising or profiling purposes. There are no user accounts, shopping carts, comment sections, or contact forms.

Personal data is processed only to the extent strictly necessary for the technical operation of the service. The following sections describe that scope in full.

3. Data collected on this website

Server log files

Each time this website is accessed, the hosting provider IONOS SE automatically records information transmitted by your browser. This includes:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of the access
  • URL requested and HTTP method used
  • HTTP status code and volume of data transferred
  • Referrer URL (if transmitted by your browser)
  • Browser identifier (user-agent string)

This data is stored in server log files. No cross-referencing with other data sources or linkage to your identity takes place.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest consists in ensuring smooth operation and detecting and preventing abusive access.

Retention period: in accordance with the standard retention terms of IONOS SE; extended retention occurs only where necessary to investigate a specific incident.

Data processing agreement: processing takes place on servers of IONOS SE (see section 4). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place. No transfer to third countries outside the European Economic Area takes place.

Email contact

When you contact us by email at info@exax.de, the data you submit — sender address, subject, message content, and technical email metadata — is stored for the purpose of handling your request. No disclosure to third parties takes place.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (responding to enquiries); additionally Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the contact relates to a pre-contractual relationship.

Retention period: data is deleted after your request has been fully resolved, provided no statutory retention obligations apply.

4. Hosting with IONOS

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS acts as a data processor under Art. 28 GDPR; a data processing agreement is in place. Processing takes place exclusively on servers within the European Economic Area.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Your rights as a data subject

With respect to your personal data you have the following rights:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): you may request information about the personal data we process.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): you may request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): under the statutory conditions you may request that your data be deleted.
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): you may request that processing be restricted.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): you may request that your data be provided in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): you may object to the processing of your personal data carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, provided there are grounds relating to your particular situation.

Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 GDPR): if you consider that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. For Bavaria, this is:
